A little stitcher's folklore: artists say every studio needs a muse — and in this one, the muse has clearly just finished the painting herself.

Why this kit: a fun, colourful design for dog lovers and artists, with 64 colours that make every corner a surprise.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 64 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppy's face and ears, then the paint pots and palette, and finish with the brushes and paint splashes using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 40×29 cm (15.7×11.4 in). A playful picture for a craft room or studio and a great gift for artistic dog lovers.
