Stitch Balloon, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a pastel hot air balloon in soft stripes rises into the sky, its wicker basket overflowing with pink peonies and blue flowers, surrounded by little blue and gold stars.

A little stitcher's folklore: they say a balloon full of flowers carries wishes up to the clouds, and every star around it is one that has already come true.

Why this kit: a dreamy, romantic design for a bedroom or nursery — and a lovely gift for a birthday or a new adventure.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 30 colours, a needle, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the flowers in the basket, then the striped balloon, and finish with the stars using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 13.5×19 cm (5.3×7.5 in). A dreamy picture for a bedroom or nursery and a sweet gift.
