Stitch Graceful Orchids, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a spray of pink moth orchids arches across the picture against a soft, misty pink and green background, each bloom shaded from deep magenta at the centre to pale blush at the edges.

A little stitcher's folklore: orchids were once a symbol of luxury and love, and in the old language of flowers a pink orchid meant grace and joy.

Why this kit: an elegant, modern floral that fills a square frame with colour — a beautiful piece for a living room or bedroom.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 24 colours, 2 needles, a symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the orchid centres and darkest petals first, then blend out to the pale edges, and finish with the stems and soft background using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 25×25 cm (9.8×9.8 in). An elegant floral statement for the home and a lovely gift.
