Stitch Spring Bouquet, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a fresh bouquet of pink peonies, a white anemone with a dark centre, pink foxgloves and trailing bleeding hearts, in soft watercolour shades on white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: foxgloves were said to be fairy gloves, and a bouquet with foxgloves was thought to invite the fairies' blessing into the house.

Why this kit: a pretty, romantic spring floral with 54 colours — lovely for a bedroom and a beautiful Mother's Day gift.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 54 colours, a needle, a black-and-white symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch the deep pink peony centres first, then the anemone and foxgloves, and finish with the leaves and bleeding hearts using the chart.

Finished size: 25×23 cm (9.8×9.1 in). A fresh spring floral to frame and a lovely gift.
