Stitch Vase with Sunflower, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a round glass vase overflows with golden sunflowers, trailing leaves and small blooms, the light catching the water and stems through the glass.

A little stitcher's folklore: a vase of sunflowers given to a new neighbour was an old way of wishing them a bright and lucky home.

Why this kit: a sunny, detailed still life with a lovely glass effect — a rewarding project for stitchers who enjoy texture and light.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 54 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the sunflower centres, then the golden petals, and finish with the leaves and glass vase using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 24×27 cm (9.4×10.6 in). A bright still life for the kitchen or living room and a cheerful housewarming gift.
