Stitch Pansies Bouquet, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a cheerful bunch of velvety pansies in deep violet, navy, golden yellow, orange and cream fills a painted floral tin, with a few blooms fallen at its foot.

A little stitcher's folklore: pansies were once called 'heartsease' and tucked into letters to say 'I'm thinking of you'.

Why this kit: a bright, happy floral with 55 colours on antique white Aida — lovely for a kitchen or sunroom.

Kit includes: 16-count antique white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 55 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the darkest violet pansy faces, then the yellow and orange blooms, and finish with the tin and leaves using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 23×30 cm (9.1×11.8 in). A cheerful floral to frame and a thoughtful gift.
