Stitch Garden Decor, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a straw sun hat rests on an old zinc bucket overflowing with pink peonies and lilac spires, beside a pair of white wellies filled with blooms, on a flowery garden path.

A little stitcher's folklore: gardeners say a pair of boots left by the flowerbed means the garden is well loved — and will reward you for it.

Why this kit: a charming country-garden still life with 56 colours — the perfect gift for keen gardeners.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 56 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the peonies, then the bucket, hat and wellies, and finish with the lilac spires and path using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 29×29 cm (11.4×11.4 in). A charming garden picture for the conservatory or kitchen and a lovely gift for gardeners.
