A little stitcher's folklore: in Greek myth the anemone was born from Aphrodite's tears, and it has long stood for love and anticipation.

Why this kit: a fresh, elegant floral in a tall format with 46 colours — lovely in a hallway or bedroom.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 46 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the dark flower centres, then the pink petals, and finish with the butterfly and leaves using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 20×30 cm (7.9×11.8 in). An elegant floral to frame and a lovely gift.
