Stitch The Howl of Wolves and the Winter Moon, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — three wolves stand in deep snow among silver birches and dark firs, one lifting its head to howl at a glowing full moon.

A little stitcher's folklore: northern folk believed wolves howl to the moon to call their pack home through the long winter night.

Why this kit: a dramatic, moonlit wildlife scene from the Gold Collection with 51 colours — a rewarding project for experienced stitchers.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 51 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time, starting with the wolves, then the birches and snow, and finally the moon and night sky.

Finished size: 52×35 cm (20.5×13.8 in). A striking winter picture for the study or living room and a bold gift for wolf lovers.
