Stitch Rozella Peony, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a soft pink and lilac 'Rozella' peony with a golden heart opens on white Aida, with fresh green leaves and a little orange butterfly. The kit includes an oval hoop to frame it.

A little stitcher's folklore: peonies were said to bring honour and happiness, and a butterfly visiting one meant a wish would soon come true.

Why this kit: a gentle, romantic floral that's quick to stitch and comes with its own hoop — perfect as a gift.

Kit includes: 18-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 31 colours, a needle, a white oval embroidery hoop (18×23 cm), a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. The hoop doubles as a ready-made frame.

Start with the golden centre, then the pink and lilac petals, and finish with the leaves and butterfly using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 12×12 cm (4.7×4.7 in). A pretty hoop art piece ready to hang and a sweet gift.
