Stitch The Spring, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a little white farmhouse sits in fresh green fields, framed by budding trees and a border of pink spring flowers, all within a round design. The clear round hoop is included, so it's ready to hang when finished.

A little stitcher's folklore: country folk said the first blossom seen in spring shows the mood of the whole year — pink for love, white for peace.

Why this kit: part of a lovely four-seasons hoop series — stitch Spring alone or collect Summer, Autumn and Winter to make a set.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 32 colours, 2 needles, a clear round embroidery hoop (20.5 cm), a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. The hoop doubles as a ready-made frame.

Start with the farmhouse, then the green fields and trees, and finish with the pink flower border using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 17×17 cm (6.7×6.7 in). A fresh spring hoop art piece ready to hang and a lovely gift.
