Stitch French Macarons, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a pastel stack of pink, peach, mint and lavender macarons is crowned with a full pink rose and small blooms, framed by a white oval hoop.

A little stitcher's folklore: Parisian pâtissiers say a box of macarons is the sweetest way to say 'thank you' — one for each thing you're grateful for.

Why this kit: a pretty, pastel design with its own oval hoop — lovely for a kitchen or a gift for a baking friend.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 43 colours, 2 needles, a white oval embroidery hoop (22×27 cm), a black-and-white symbol chart and instructions. The hoop doubles as a ready-made frame.

Start with the pink rose, then work down through the pastel macarons using the black-and-white chart.

Finished size: 16×15 cm (6.3×5.9 in). A pretty pastel hoop art piece ready to hang and a sweet gift.
