Gold Crown King on Red Rocking Horse Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-32-N01860C

Ride into the holidays with the Gold Crown King on Red Rocking Horse, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a king in a gold glitter crown set with blue gems, a fluffy white beard under a black moustache, and a red velvet cape trimmed in gold braid. He holds a gold scepter topped with a crystal as he rides a white rocking horse with a brown faux-fur mane, red reins and a gold fringed saddle, on red rockers painted with gold scrolls and gems.

A little collector's folklore: the wooden rocking horse was one of the most treasured Christmas toys of the 1800s, and collectors say the king takes his horse for a gallop around the tree after the children are asleep.

Why this nutcracker: if you love vintage toy style, the rocking horse makes him a charming change from a standing figure. At about 12 inches he fits a mantel, shelf or side table, and the soft cape and mane add lovely texture.

In the box: one Gold Crown King on Red Rocking Horse nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur mane and beard and a fabric cape. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect the red hat soldier and the red crown king riders in the same series (F07AM9-32-N01860A and B). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Vintage-style Christmas decor, and a nostalgic gift for anyone who loves classic toys.
