Stitch Hunting Eagle, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a proud bald eagle with a golden beak and piercing eye rises from a bed of pink blooms and soft grey foliage, in a delicate watercolour style.

A little stitcher's folklore: the eagle is the king of the skies, and seeing one was once taken as a sign of courage and a fresh start.

Why this kit: a striking bird portrait softened with flowers, with 39 colours — a great gift for bird lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 39 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the eagle's eye and beak, then the white head and dark feathers, and finish with the pink blooms using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 27×20 cm (10.6×7.9 in). A striking bird picture for the study or living room and a fine gift.
