Flame Dragon Academy Study DIY Book Nook Kit 9 in by Wizardi F07M5-48-RK01

A two-level fire-element study of a magic academy, lit in red and gold beneath a carved dragon crest: downstairs a young witch sits at a round table beside a glowing hearth, a crystal ball and a candle, and upstairs another student lounges reading under a gothic arched window with a moonlit view, a little creature perched beside them. The cover panel shows a cheerful baby dragon in a wizard's hat holding a glowing orb, and the touch switch lights the dragon up.

A little crafter's folklore: young wizards say a dragon by the hearth keeps the fire burning all winter, and miniaturists like to switch the light on so the dragon wakes.

Why this kit: if you love dragons and magic schools, this nook glows like a fireplace, with a dust sheet and touch-switch light.

In the box: laser-cut wooden sheets for the book nook case and the multi-level scene, printed figures, signs and side-panel artwork, tiny props, an LED light with a touch switch and battery box, and an illustrated instruction manual. Not included: batteries, glue and small tools such as tweezers.

Part of the Wizardi storybook book nook series in the same tall upright case, made to stand between your books like a lit volume of its own, so shops, homes and fantasy rooms line up on one shelf. Build tip: build the scene floor by floor from the bottom up, route the light wire as you go and test the touch switch before closing the side panels, then add the roof details last. Pair it with the Nebula Star Academy Study, its cool blue companion.

Size: 11 x 18 x 23 cm (4.3 x 7.1 x 9.1 in). A statement bookshelf insert that glows between your books at night, and a memorable gift for readers. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
