Bead-embroider "Red Apple" with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a classic apple silhouette split between deep red and cream glass beads, with two black teardrop beads forming the seeds and a beaded red stem looping at the top.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 3 colors, Crystal Art beads in 7 colors (7 sizes), felt, wire, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the wire forms the beaded stem loop at the top, and the finished piece is mounted onto stiff cardboard backing for structure (cardboard, embroidery thread, and glue are purchased separately). Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5.5x7 cm (2.17x2.76 in). A fun, fast beadwork project and a handmade gift for a fruit-motif jewelry fan or teacher's gift.
