Bead-embroider Bullfinch with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a bird profile shaped from glossy black beads for the head and back, with two bright red oval cabochons forming the signature red breast.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 4 colors (3 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 5 colors (6 sizes), felt in 1 color, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine. Backing cardboard, beading thread, and glue for mounting are sold separately.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color pattern and stitching each bead onto the backing in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead. Once the beadwork is complete, mount it onto stiff backing cardboard (purchased separately) and attach the fastener to wear or gift.

Finished size: 5 x 4.5 cm (1.97 x 1.77 in). A quick beadwork project and a colorful handmade gift for birdwatchers and nature lovers.

    I think they run out of beads for this, and replaced them with beads that didn't work for the project and were the wrong size. Looking at the preview, the beads are completely different shapes and don't fit on the piece at all. Very disappointed with this one
