Bead-embroider The Bird of Happiness with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — a stylized peacock-like bird in profile, its curved blue-violet neck and green body trailing into a long tail set with faceted rhinestones and rhinestone-chain accents, topped with a silver wire crest.

Kit includes: instruction chart, color pattern, Preciosa beads in 10 colors (7 sizes), Crystal Art beads in 2 colors (2 sizes), rhinestones, gimp, rhinestone chain, floss, felt, fastener, fittings, and a needle (cardboard backing, beading thread, and glue are needed but sold separately). Bead embroidery is worked by following the color scheme and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead, then mounting the piece onto cardboard for structure. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.
