Bead-embroider Peacock Feather with this Charivna Mit beadwork kit — the finished piece traces a single feather in warm gold and red tones, its eye marked by a faceted red center stone surrounded by rings of smaller stones and gold bullion wire.

Why this kit: the felt pieces create a soft dimensional finish; the templates and stitch guide make the project approachable; the finished ornament or hoop art is easy to display or give as a handmade gift.

Kit includes: instructions, color chart, Preciosa Ornela beads (Czech Republic) in 5 colors, Crystal Art beads in 2 types, canitel, rhinestone chain, felt, a fastener, and a needle. Made in Ukraine.

Bead embroidery is worked by following the color chart and stitching each bead onto the felt base in the indicated position and shade, building up texture and shine bead by bead; the canitel wire is couched along the design lines for added texture. The finished beadwork is then mounted onto a cardboard backing for a firm, structured shape. Once complete, attach the brooch pin to wear or gift.

Finished size: 4.5x8.5 cm (1.77x3.35 in). An eye-catching beadwork project and a statement handmade brooch for anyone drawn to peacock or feather motifs.

    It is a nice kit and appears to have all items but the instructions were very light. If you're more experienced it would be good but maybe not as your first kit.

    Nice idea of the brooch !But unfortunately,I have not all any full counters kind of the beads in the plastic bags . Not full parts of beads was in my order , but I Wanted to finish it ; I finished it because I have my own beads.Please,inside before packing , check correctly any kind of the beads .
