Stitch Labs Truck, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a vintage red pickup truck is loaded with a Christmas tree, a wreath and a whole litter of golden and black Labrador puppies, with their proud parents keeping watch in a snowy village. A red cardinal perches on the fence post. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: country folk say a Labrador is the best Christmas present of all, because it brings its own joy for years to come.

Why this kit: a much-loved festive scene for dog lovers, packed with personality and 59 colours of Christmas cheer.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 59 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppies' faces, then the red truck and tree, and finish with the snowy village using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 32×31 cm (12.6×12.2 in). A festive picture for Labrador lovers and a wonderful Christmas gift.
