Stitch Santa's Cottage, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — Santa stands in the snow outside a stone cottage with a cheerful snowman, a sack of presents and his red sleigh and reindeer waiting by the lamp posts, while snow-covered trees frame the village scene. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old legend says Santa always stops at one cottage first on Christmas Eve, and the house he chooses has good luck all year.

Why this kit: a classic, detailed Christmas card scene with 66 colours — a rewarding winter project for experienced stitchers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 66 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with Santa and the snowman, then the sleigh and reindeer, and finish with the cottage and snowy trees using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 48×32 cm (18.9×12.6 in). A festive village scene for the Christmas season and a wonderful gift.

I think I overestimated my skill level....I did one of these cross-stitch pics about 30 years ago and love it! But the directions seem to indicate use by a skilled crafter. Maybe make required skill level plainer in item description.
