Stitch Pets Interior, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a cosy red and white Christmas living room where a golden dog and two cats doze beside the fireplace, with a grandfather clock, a decorated tree, garlands, candles and presents all around. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said that pets asleep by the fire on Christmas Eve are keeping the house warm for Santa's visit.

Why this kit: a warm, traditional Christmas interior for pet lovers, with 62 colours and lots of festive detail.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 62 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the sleeping pets and fireplace, then the tree and clock, and finish with the red furniture and decorations using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 48×32 cm (18.9×12.6 in). A cosy Christmas picture for pet lovers and a heartfelt festive gift.
