Stitch Gold Creek, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a peaceful creek winds past a teepee camp and a cabin at sunset, with a canoe pulled up on the bank, a campfire, ducks on the water and autumn trees glowing gold. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: prospectors said the creek that glows gold at sunset is the one worth panning — even if the only treasure is the view.

Why this kit: a warm, atmospheric outdoor scene on easy-to-count 14-count Aida — perfect for anglers, campers and wilderness lovers.

Kit includes: 14-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 51 colours, a needle, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the canoe and teepees, then the creek and reflections, and finish with the autumn trees and sunset sky using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 33×22 cm (13×8.7 in). A warm wilderness picture for a cabin or den and a fine gift for outdoor lovers.
