Stitch The Forest Friends, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — Santa kneels in a snowy forest surrounded by his animal friends: a stag, a doe and fawn, wolves, a fox and a little rabbit, with a red cardinal perched on a branch above. Based on artwork by Marcello Corti.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old legend says animals can speak on Christmas Eve, and they always use it to thank Santa for the winter's kindness.

Why this kit: a gentle, magical Christmas scene with 64 colours — a wonderful heirloom for animal lovers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Anchor 100% cotton threads in 64 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a black-and-white symbol chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with Santa's face and red suit, then the animals one by one, and finish with the snowy forest using the symbol chart.

Finished size: 30×43 cm (11.8×16.9 in). A magical Christmas picture to hang every year and a treasured gift.
