Stitch Purrfect Gardening Buddies, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a litter of fluffy kittens tumbles over a blue garden chair among flower pots, lilies and pink blossoms, peering out with bright, curious eyes. Based on artwork by Jenny Newland.

A little stitcher's folklore: gardeners say a cat in the garden keeps the birds honest and the seedlings company.

Why this kit: an adorable, colourful design for cat lovers and gardeners, full of fluffy fur and flowers.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 61 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the kittens' faces and eyes, then their fur, and finish with the chair, pots and flowers using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 27×32 cm (10.6×12.6 in). A sweet garden picture for cat lovers and a lovely gift.
