Stitch Flamingo Fantastico, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a coral-pink flamingo curves its elegant neck among hibiscus and tropical blooms, with a starry teal night sky and an ornate gold border glowing against black Aida. Based on artwork by RomantzArt.

A little stitcher's folklore: flamingos are said to be pink because they eat only happy things — a lovely reminder to fill your days with joy.

Why this kit: a dramatic, jewel-bright statement piece on black fabric with 62 colours — an advanced project for confident stitchers.

Kit includes: 16-count black Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 62 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the flamingo's eye and beak, then the coral feathers and hibiscus, and finish with the gold border; a light cloth on your lap helps you see the black fabric.

Finished size: 25×32 cm (9.8×12.6 in). A dazzling tropical picture for the living room and a memorable gift.
