Stitch Santa's Express White, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a gleaming silver steam train marked 'Santa's Express' waits at a snowy station while Santa loads a sack of gifts and his reindeer stand in the falling snow among frosted pines. Based on artwork by Richard Macneil.

A little stitcher's folklore: railway folk told children that on Christmas Eve a silver train runs the lines without a timetable, and only those who believe can hear its whistle.

Why this kit: a large, magical Christmas scene with 64 colours — an heirloom project to treasure and bring out every December.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 64 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time, starting with the locomotive and Santa, then the reindeer, and finally the snowy station and trees.

Finished size: 54×35 cm (21.3×13.8 in). A magical Christmas heirloom for the living room and a special festive gift.

My husband surprised me with this kit, I was so amazed at how well it packaged and the threads were all on a card wrapped beautifully, the threads are so silky feeling and look like top shelf threads, came in one and half day's super-fast shipping, an amazing company to purchase from.\nI would recommend this company I purchased it from and the beautiful kit they sent.
