A little stitcher's folklore: Londoners say that if you hear Big Ben strike as you pass in a carriage, you'll return to the city one day.

Why this kit: an elegant travel scene for lovers of London and horses, with 53 colours and a lovely painterly finish.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 53 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the horse and red carriage, then the buildings and clock tower, and finish with the sky and washes using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 35×35 cm (13.8×13.8 in). An elegant London picture for the hallway or study and a lovely gift for travellers.
