Stitch Eternal Love, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a mother wearing a crown of cream and blush roses rests peacefully with her sleeping child in her arms, wrapped in soft white against a deep blue watercolour background.

A little stitcher's folklore: an old lullaby says a child who sleeps in a mother's arms dreams of flowers — and wakes up loved.

Why this kit: a peaceful, loving portrait with 49 colours — a treasured gift for a new mother, christening or Mother's Day.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 49 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the faces, then the rose crown, and finish with the white wrap and blue background using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 25×25 cm (9.8×9.8 in). A peaceful picture for the nursery and a heartfelt gift for a mother.
