Stitch Bicycle with Roses, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a vintage red bicycle leans against a wooden fence covered in climbing pink roses, with a basket of blooms and two little blue birds perched on top.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said that a bicycle with a basket of roses carries summer from one village to the next.

Why this kit: a charming, romantic design with 60 colours — a lovely gift for cyclists and gardeners alike.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 60 colours, a needle, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red bicycle, then the birds and basket, and finish with the climbing roses and fence using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 29×29 cm (11.4×11.4 in). A charming summer picture for the hallway or kitchen and a lovely gift.
