Stitch Morning of the Cats, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — two fluffy kittens, one black-and-white and one ginger, peek over a floral china teacup surrounded by pink roses on a lace tablecloth.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said kittens at the breakfast table bring a day full of mischief — and plenty of laughter.

Why this kit: an adorable, cosy scene with 59 colours, on Aida with a printed grid that makes counting easier.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 59 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the kittens' eyes and faces, then the fluffy fur, and finish with the teacup, roses and lace using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 37×25 cm (14.6×9.8 in). A sweet picture for the kitchen and a lovely gift for cat lovers.
