Stitch Autumn Harvest, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a long, generous panorama of autumn bounty: rosy apples, blueberries, red berries, mushrooms, walnuts and hazelnuts, golden wheat and russet leaves.

A little stitcher's folklore: the last sheaf of harvest was kept in the kitchen through winter to make sure next year's crops would be just as plentiful.

Why this kit: a rich, panoramic harvest design with 59 colours — perfect above a kitchen doorway or dresser.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 59 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions (a QR code inside also gives you a digital PDF of the pattern). A frame and hoop are not included.

Stitch from left to right, starting with the apples and berries, then the mushrooms and nuts, and finish with the wheat and leaves using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 57×21.5 cm (22.4×8.5 in). A warm autumn panorama for the kitchen and a lovely harvest-time gift.
