Stitch Meeting in the Flowering Field, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a fluffy golden retriever puppy sits among red poppies and golden grasses, gazing up at a butterfly fluttering in the warm summer sky.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said that when a butterfly visits a puppy, the pair will be friends for life — and bring luck to the home that keeps them.

Why this kit: a heart-warming summer scene with 56 colours, on Aida with a printed grid that makes counting easier.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 56 colours, a needle, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppy's face and eyes, then the golden fur, and finish with the poppies, grasses and butterfly using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 25×25 cm (9.8×9.8 in). A heart-warming picture for the living room and a lovely gift for dog lovers.
