Stitch Santa's Little Troublemaker, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a golden puppy in reindeer antlers dozes in a torn-open gift box among ribbons, baubles and presents beneath the Christmas tree, beside a glowing fireplace.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said a puppy that unwraps the presents early is only checking that Santa got everything right.

Why this kit: a funny, cosy Christmas scene after artwork by Ali Corti, with 59 colours on Aida with a printed grid.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 59 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppy's face and antlers, then the gift box and ribbons, and finish with the tree, fireplace and presents using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 44×32 cm (17.3×12.6 in). A fun Christmas picture to bring out every December and a lovely festive gift for dog lovers.
