Stitch Cappadocia, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — dozens of striped hot air balloons drift across a golden sunrise sky above white cliffs, a winding blue bay and a little village of red roofs.

A little stitcher's folklore: in Cappadocia they say the balloons rising at dawn carry away the night's worries and bring back good dreams.

Why this kit: a colourful, uplifting travel scene with 57 colours at an intermediate level, on Aida with a printed grid.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 57 colours, 2 needles, a needle threader, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the large balloon in the foreground, then the smaller balloons, and finish with the cliffs, sea and sky using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 30×30 cm (11.8×11.8 in). An uplifting travel picture for the living room and a lovely gift for adventurers.
