Stitch Italy in the Perfume of Flowers, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a narrow cobbled lane winds between old stone houses draped in flowers and window boxes, with a red scooter parked by a doorway and a blue lake and mountains beyond.

A little stitcher's folklore: Italians say that whoever parks their scooter in a flower-filled lane will always find their way back to it.

Why this kit: a sunny, romantic Italian scene with 58 colours, on Aida with a printed grid that makes counting easier.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 58 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red scooter and doorways, then the flowers and window boxes, and finish with the lake, mountains and sky using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 32×48 cm (12.6×18.9 in). A sunny travel picture for the hallway and a lovely gift for lovers of Italy.
