Stitch Santa With Tree, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — Father Christmas carries a freshly cut fir tree over his shoulder through a snowy wood, greeted by a fawn, a little rabbit and a red cardinal among holly berries.

A little stitcher's folklore: it was said that bringing the tree home on a snowy day ensured a merry Christmas for all inside.

Why this kit: a classic, gentle Christmas scene with 56 colours at an intermediate level.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 56 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with Santa's face and red suit, then the tree and animals, and finish with the snowy wood and berries using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 29×38 cm (11.4×15 in). A festive picture to bring out every December and a lovely Christmas gift.
