Stitch Santa Interior, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — Father Christmas fills the stockings by a crackling fireplace in a cosy living room, beside a glowing tree and piles of presents, watched by a dog and cats on the rug.

A little stitcher's folklore: the pets of the house were said to be the only ones who ever stayed awake to see Father Christmas.

Why this kit: a richly detailed Christmas interior from the Gold Collection with 69 colours, on Aida with a printed grid.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 69 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time, starting with Santa and the fireplace, then the tree and animals, and finally the presents and room.

Finished size: 46×33 cm (18.1×13 in). A treasured Christmas picture to hang every December and a festive family heirloom.
