Stitch Santa's Delivery, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a basket of golden and black puppies waits on the snowy step of a bright red front door, hung with a holly wreath and golden bells beneath a stained-glass fanlight.

A little stitcher's folklore: it's said a puppy that arrives at Christmas brings a lifetime of loyalty to the home.

Why this kit: an adorable Christmas design with 49 colours at an intermediate level.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 49 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the puppies and basket, then the wreath and bells, and finish with the red door and snow using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 29×38 cm (11.4×15 in). A heart-warming Christmas picture and a lovely festive gift for dog lovers.
