Stitch Quayside, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S Gold Collection — a long panorama of elegant painted townhouses, cafés and awnings lines a harbour, with little boats moored at the water's edge and their reflections below.

A little stitcher's folklore: sailors say a harbour town always keeps a light burning so that every boat finds its way home.

Why this kit: a sweeping, panoramic Gold Collection scene with 64 colours — a rewarding project for experienced stitchers.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 64 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Work one chart page at a time from left to right, starting with the houses and cafés, then the boats, and finally the water and sky.

Finished size: 64×32 cm (25.2×12.6 in). A grand panorama for above a sofa or sideboard and a treasured gift.
