Stitch Lovey, a counted cross stitch kit by Luca-S — a graceful white swan glides across rippling blue water, framed by sprays of pink and red blossom.

A little stitcher's folklore: swans mate for life, and a swan on the water was said to bring lasting love and loyalty.

Why this kit: an elegant, romantic design with 62 colours at an intermediate level, on Aida with a printed grid.

Kit includes: 16-count Zweigart Aida with a printed counting grid (100% cotton), Luca-S 100% cotton threads in 62 colours, 2 needles, a partially coloured chart with coloured backstitch and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the swan's head and beak, then the white feathers, and finish with the blossom and water using the partially coloured chart.

Finished size: 35×29 cm (13.8×11.4 in). An elegant picture for the bedroom and a lovely wedding or anniversary gift.
