Stitch A Knot for Good Luck, a small counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a shiny red Christmas bauble with a red bow and a blue patterned knitted scarf hang from a green fir branch among falling snowflakes. Worked in 18 colours of DMC stranded cotton on light blue Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: tying a knot in a scarf or ribbon on Christmas Eve was said to tie good luck to you for the whole year. Stitchers say this one is tied tight.

Why this kit: if you love cosy Christmas designs, this little bauble and scarf is quick and festive, with the light blue fabric making a frosty background. A lovely small Christmas gift.

Kit includes: 14-count light blue Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 18 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the red bauble and bow, then the blue knitted scarf. Finish with the fir branch and the snowflakes.

Finished size: 10.5×11 cm (4.13×4.33 in). A festive little picture to frame and a quick Christmas gift.
