Stitch Path to Sunset, a small counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a wooden path runs between banks of purple heather down to a little jetty on a calm lake, under a pink and golden sunset sky. Worked in 30 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: walking a path towards the setting sun was said to lead you home by the shortest way. Stitchers say this path leads straight to peace and quiet.

Why this kit: if you love sunsets and quick, colourful projects, this small lake scene is relaxing and satisfying. A lovely gift, and part of RTO's sunset mini series.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 30 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the purple heather and wooden path, then the jetty and lake. Finish with the pink and golden sky.

Finished size: 9×13 cm (3.54×5.12 in). A glowing little sunset picture to frame and a quick handmade gift.
