Stitch Admirers, a small counted cross stitch kit by RTO — a girl gently kisses a fluffy cat on the nose as it closes its eyes happily, drawn in soft black, white and grey tones. Worked in 8 colours of DMC stranded cotton on 16-count white Aida.

A little stitcher's folklore: a cat that closes its eyes for you was said to trust you with its whole heart. Stitchers say this one adores her.

Why this kit: if you love cats and tender, simple designs, this little kiss is quick and heart-warming to stitch. A lovely gift for cat lovers and Valentine's Day.

Kit includes: 16-count white Zweigart Aida (100% cotton), DMC stranded cotton in 8 colours, a needle, a colour symbol chart and instructions. A frame and hoop are not included.

Start with the darkest shadows of the girl's face and the cat's fur, then the greys. Finish with the white whiskers and highlights.

Finished size: 9×12 cm (3.54×4.72 in). A tender little picture to frame and a heartfelt gift for cat lovers.

    Back in November 2024, I lost my sidekick of 16-1/2 years, Shirley the Cat. The cat in this pattern looks just like her. She always had an expression on her face that I called "in touch with her inner kitten". Thank You So Much.

    Love Cat

    This is my cat. Not only does he sleep by me, but he gives great kitty kisses. My cat may be old, he is definitely appreciated and appreciative. The kit is worth every penny. The chart iand instructions are easy to follow. The floss is separated and labeled. This Duotone kit places emphasis on the sentiments being projected by both the cat and his companion. I loved this so much, I bought a 2nd kit as a gift for another cat owner. Thanks for the quick response.
