Wine Waiter with Barrel Hat Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07M14-20-N01850B

Raise a glass to the holidays with the Wine Waiter, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a cheerful sommelier with a wine barrel hat topped with a bunch of green grapes, black hair and a moustache, a maroon vest with a red bow tie over a white shirt, and a long cream apron. He holds a bottle of wine in one hand and a white napkin over the other arm, with black boots on a red base.

A little collector's folklore: mulled wine has warmed winter markets for centuries, and collectors say a wine waiter on the sideboard makes sure every guest's glass is full at the Christmas toast.

Why this nutcracker: if you love wine, run a restaurant or host the holiday dinner, he is a witty change from the soldier. He looks perfect on a bar cart or wine rack, and at 15 inches he makes a statement on a sideboard.

In the box: one Wine Waiter nutcracker in painted wood with black faux-fur hair and a fabric apron, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the other winemakers in the trio (F07M14-20-N01850A and C), or set him on the bar cart with a festive bottle. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Christmas bar and dining room decor, and a fun gift for wine lovers, sommeliers and hosts.
