Pastel Blue Candyland Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07M14-30-N01703 blue stand

Bring a soft pastel touch with the Pastel Blue Candyland nutcracker by Wizardi — a sweet-shop guard in a white top hat with blue scallops and a red swirl, a sky blue jacket, a lilac-and-white striped skirt and a fluffy white beard. He holds a peppermint-topped staff, with teal boots dotted with rhinestones on a pastel blue base.

A little collector's folklore: in the Land of Sweets, every guard is painted the colour of a different candy, and collectors say the blue one guards the cotton candy stall.

Why this nutcracker: if your Christmas palette is pastel, icy blue or nursery-soft, he fits where traditional red would feel heavy. He is lovely on a pastel tree or a child's shelf, and at about 12 inches he fits almost anywhere.

In the box: one Pastel Blue Candyland nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and rhinestone accents, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Collect all four pastel stands in the series — pink, green, blue and purple (F07M14-30-N01703) — or style him with blue and silver baubles. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Pastel Christmas shelf and nursery decor, and a sweet gift for anyone who loves pastel colours.
