Flutist Soldier Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07M14-32-N01819C

Add a melody to the mantel with the Flutist Soldier, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a band soldier in a tall white hat with a gold band, a red gem and a gold lyre emblem, a red-and-green jacket with gold epaulettes, and a fluffy white beard under a curled moustache. He plays a gold flute held across his chest, with white trousers and green boots set with red gems on a white drum base with a red zigzag.

A little collector's folklore: in The Nutcracker, the Dance of the Reed Flutes is one of the sweetest moments in the Land of Sweets, and collectors say a flute player on the shelf keeps the house in tune all season.

Why this nutcracker: if you love music or play an instrument, he is a lovely, more delicate alternative to the usual drummer. His red, green and white colours are classic Christmas, and at 15 inches he makes an elegant piece for a piano, mantel or music room.

In the box: one Flutist Soldier nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and gem accents, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Form a band with the other musicians in the series (F07M14-32-N01819A, B and D), or set him on the piano with sheet music and red ornaments. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Classic Christmas mantel and music room decor, and a thoughtful gift for flutists, musicians and music teachers.
