Advent Countdown Soldier Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-7-N01830B

Count down to the big day with the Advent Countdown Soldier, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a soldier in a red top hat with a gold emblem, a fluffy white beard under a curled moustache, and a green jacket with gold fringe epaulettes. He holds a red "Days Until Christmas" board numbered 1 to 25, with a red ribbon to mark the day, and stands in green trousers and black boots laced in gold on a green base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: families have counted the days of Advent since the 1800s, first with chalk marks on the door and later with calendars, and collectors say this soldier keeps the count so no one forgets.

Why this nutcracker: if you have children or love Advent traditions, he turns December into a daily ritual. At 15 inches he stands proudly by the tree or on a mantel from the first of December until Christmas.

In the box: one Advent Countdown Soldier nutcracker in painted wood with a white faux-fur beard and a countdown board, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Pair him with the countdown Santa (F07AM9-7-N01830A) for a matching Advent display. Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Advent and Christmas countdown decor, and a fun family gift.
