Royal Drummer with Bearskin Hat Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 15 in by Wizardi F07AM9-24-N01866C

Lead the festivities with the Royal Drummer, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a drummer in a tall black faux-fur bearskin hat with a gold chain and a ruby jewel, a white beard under a curled moustache, and a gold and green jacket with gold epaulettes. He plays a red drum painted with green triangles using gold drumsticks, with burgundy trousers, black boots with gold scrollwork and a burgundy base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: royal drummers once announced the arrival of the king at court, and collectors say this drummer plays a fanfare the moment the first guest arrives for Christmas dinner.

Why this nutcracker: if you like a traditional soldier with a little extra texture, the fur bearskin hat and jewel give him real character. At 15 inches he stands tall beside the tree or on a mantel.

In the box: one Royal Drummer nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur hat and beard and a drum, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Stand him with the burgundy king, the soldier and the royal guard (F07AM9-24-N01866D, A and B). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 38 cm tall (15 in). Classic Christmas mantel decor, and a festive gift for drummers and nutcracker collectors.
