Bearskin Hat Drummer Christmas Wooden Nutcracker 12 in by Wizardi F07AM9-25-N01866C

Keep the holiday beat with the Bearskin Hat Drummer, a wooden Christmas nutcracker by Wizardi — a drummer in a tall black faux-fur bearskin hat with a red jewel and a gold chain, a fluffy white beard under a curled black moustache, and a green jacket with a red front, gold braid and gold fringe epaulettes. He plays a red drum with gold drumsticks, with red trousers and black boots trimmed in gold on a red base edged in gold.

A little collector's folklore: in The Nutcracker the drummer sounds the alarm when the Mouse King's army appears at midnight, and collectors say he still keeps one drumstick ready on Christmas Eve.

Why this nutcracker: if you love a traditional guard look, the fuzzy bearskin hat gives him real texture and presence. At about 12 inches he fits a mantel, shelf or windowsill, and he pairs naturally with the rest of the royal guard.

In the box: one Bearskin Hat Drummer nutcracker in painted wood with a faux-fur hat and beard and a drum, packed in a red gift box with a window. A decorative nutcracker, not intended for cracking nuts. Ready to display, no assembly needed.

Complete the court with the sword soldier, the royal guard and the king (F07AM9-25-N01866A, B and D), or choose the 15 inch drummer (F07AM9-24-N01866C). Dust with a soft, dry brush and keep away from moisture and heat. A decoration, not a toy.

Size: 30 cm tall (11.8 in). Traditional Christmas decor, and a classic gift for drummers and nutcracker collectors.
